Baby Steps

Baby Steps is a perinatal education programme offered to pregnant people and their partners who live in Wiltshire. It helps parents to prepare for the birth of their baby, and their own transition to parenthood.

We use a range of techniques to help parents to nurture healthy relationships and help them understand and respond to their babies’ needs.

The programme is delivered through nine group sessions (six sessions towards the end of pregnancy, and three once the baby is born). The sessions are a mixture of virtual and face to face, delivered in community venues across Wiltshire, such as the Family Hubs.

The Baby Steps team will contact you directly if you are eligible for the programme, however if you have not been contacted and wish to take part, please contact us at HCRG.babysteps@nhs.net .
